چکیده
Alloys of the quasibinary TiNi-TiCu system manufactured by melt quenching in form thin 20–50 μm ribbons have proven to show good potential as materials for fabrication micromechanical devices. At high cooling rates (about 106 K/s), this method allows producing high-copper (more than 20 at.%) amorphous alloys which exhibit an excellent shape-memory effect after crystallization. Their properties are known largely depend on crystallization conditions and structure initial material acting a precursor formation crystal phases. It has been shown recently that rejuvenation procedure (cryogenic thermocycling) metallic glasses is one most promising methods improving their properties. In study, we investigated first time cryogenic thermocycling rapidly quenched TiNiCu state, well phase transformation patterns subsequent conducted using various methods. The was analyzed utilizing scanning transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, differential calorimetry. results treatment slightly reduces glass transition onset temperatures moderately changes sizes structural features (grains, martensite plates), quantity phase, characteristic enthalpy martensitic transformation.

QUANTITATIVE STUDY OF Sb GRAIN BOUNDARY SEGREGATION IN RAPIDLY QUENCHED Cu-Sb ALLOYS
In the present work, we used Cu-Sb alloy system as a model to study grain boundary segregation in specimens prepared by rapid quenching. Ribbons of Cu-Sb alloys of single Cu phase and polycrystalline structure containing 0.01, 0.08, and 2wt% Sb prepared by single roller melt spinning were used as specimens, and the segregation was studied by using energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer attached t...
متن کاملKinetic Pathways of Phase Transformations in Two-Phase Ti Alloys
Possible phase transformation kinetic pathways from the high temperature b phase to the low temperature (a+ b) two-phase Ti alloys were analyzed using the graphical thermodynamic method and the assumption that diffusionless and displacive transformations take place much faster than phase separation which requires long-range diffusion. It is shown that depending on the composition of a b-stabili...
متن کاملThe Interpretation of Structure Functions in Quenched Binary Alloys
We study the segregation process in quenched binary alloys by analyzing and comparing the time evolution of the structure function and of the grain distribution obtained from computer simulations on a model system. We tind good agreement between cluster sizes and densities determined directly on the computer sample and ones obtained by the Guinier method from the structure function. We then des...
متن کاملa contrastive study of rhetorical functions of citation in iranian and international elt scopus journals
writing an academic article requires the researchers to provide support for their works by learning how to cite the works of others. various studies regarding the analysis of citation in m.a theses have been done, while little work has been done on comparison of citations among elt scopus journal articles, and so the dearth of research in this area demands for further investigation into citatio...
Phase transformations and segregation in Fe–Ni alloys and nanoalloys
Ordering and segregation properties of Fe–Ni alloys and nanoalloys are investigated by means of Metropolis Monte Carlo (MMC) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations. The model is based on an embedded atom potential which, according to thermodynamic integration, only stabilizes those phases that are observed experimentally. This stability is confirmed by MMC and the same phases are found stable ...
